Nest Box Program

Butterfly Garden

If you're an enthusiastic gardener you can volunteer with the master gardeners by lending a hand with planting, weeding and watering our wonderful butterfly garden at the Burnaby Lake Nature House.

 

Free Public Nature Walks

naturewalk We host 2 free nature walks each year, one in June to celebrate environment week and a Christmas walk in December. Come out and learn more about the beautiful flora and fauna in the park. Then join us for refreshments.

 

Weedbusters

weedbuster March to October

Roll up your sleeves and join the Weedbusters, Metro Vancouver, and other volunteers to remove Scotch Broom, Policeman’s Helmet and English Ivy.

 

Bioblitz

Join local scientists and blitz through Burnaby Lake Regional Park counting as many different species as you can. Check out the Burnaby Lake BioBlitz website.
