Get to the Know the BLPA – April 2018

You’re invited to Get to the Know the BLPA

Guest speaker:  Rebeca Salas – “Saving Burnaby Lake”

While working as a Registrar at the Burnaby Village Museum, Salas-Rebeca-Headshot-SFU-2016-jpeg-400x400
Rebeca Salas completed research about the community activists who worked to clean up and preserve the aquatic environment of Burnaby Lake and their legacy of stewardship. She received her MA in Geography from Simon Fraser University, and is interested in community heritage.

We will take the time to have a very short meeting to conduct our AGM business.

Then we will break for refreshments which will provide an opportunity for you to meet the BLPA directors and other volunteers, pick up a Weedbusters schedule or the latest Check It Out, and have the chance to ask any questions you might have.

Full AGM agenda will be published/emailed by April 4.

Space is limited. Please RSVP so we can plan for refreshments and seating.
