Get outside and get connected to Nature!
The Burnaby Lake Park Association will be “popping up” in the park this summer
Meet us in front of the Nature House on Sunday, July 21st. We’ll be there with our display to answer your questions about the the plants and wildlife you will find in the park, what the BLPA does and how you can get involved.
You can ask our volunteers about nature apps you can use on your phone such as iNaturalist, Merlin Bird ID or eBird. Learn about the Bird Friendly City program and how you can make Burnaby safer for birds!
We’re also offering the following guided outings:
- 10:00 am – 11:00 am – Amphibian Walk #1
- 11:00 am – 12:00 pm – Beginner Bird Outing
- 11:30 am – 12:30 pm – Amphibian Walk #2
