Be a champion for native plants! Tackle invasive species: non-native plants that have become established and replaced native species. Join the Burnaby Lake Park Association in removing these invasive species from around Burnaby Lake. We’ll provide gloves, tools, and snacks. Dress for the weather and be prepared to work off-trail in the woods.

Meet at the Avalon parking lot and we will walk to the East end of the Freeway trail to the final patch of Scotch Broom.
