Bird Week – The Birds of Burnaby Lake – POSTPONED

In response to the COVID-19 situation, this program has been POSTPONED.
We will plan to reschedule this event to coincide with the Fall Migration in October. However, we will try to bring the celebration of World Migratory Bird Day online as well as nature related posts via our social media accounts: Twitter : Facebook : Instagram.
We will keep you posted on any updates.
Regional parks and greenways remain open. Spending time in nature is a good way to take care of both your physical and mental health.
Volunteers maintain over 200 nest boxes that provide homes for swallows, chickadees and wood ducks. Find out more about this program and the birds that call Burnaby Lake home.
