The Christmas Bird Count for Kids (#CBC4Kids) is a fun winter bird watching event based on the traditional Christmas Bird Count.
The goal is to connect youth and their families with the natural world. Participants build bird identification and monitoring skills while contributing to real Citizen Science through eBird Canada.
Metro Vancouver Park Interpreters will instruct on proper binoculars use and how to use a field guide to identify and report findings during this winter bird count. Learn basic birding skills and enjoy the BLPA’s Open House afterward. A delightful Christmas tradition.
