The City of Burnaby kicks off Environment Week (Saturday, May 28 to Sunday, June 12) with this Annual Festival at City Hall.
This is a free public event with environmental displays, live blue grass music by 5 on a String, prize draws, face painting, tours of the nearby Great Blue Heron colony, and many other activities for kids. The weekly Burnaby Farmers Market is nearby in the north parking lot. Plan to attend both events! Prize draws at the Environment Festival will include Farmers Market dollars that can be spent the same day!
We’ll be there with our display to show our activities and information about the park. We have 2 scheduled Weedbusters during the week: Sunday, June 5 and Sunday, June 12.
