Video from MetroVancouver

Volunteering with us is a great experience. You’ll get the chance to meet amazing people, learn or enhance your skills, put your experience to work and be in direct contact with nature. There are many ways you can make a difference at the Park:

  • Administration skills, Archiving
  • Community Outreach – letting the public know about the BLPA
  • Monitoring – our annual nest box servicing and other scientific monitoring when opportunities arise, e.g. turtles; may require additional training
  • Photography & Writing – events, website, social media
  • Special Events – organize, set up/take down, speak to the public, tour guide
  • Stewardship – hands on activities such as Invasive species removal, planting, nesting boxes, surveys/monitoring

Check out our Event Listings to see what activities we will be working on. You can also find our stewardship activities listed as part of the Regional Parks Connect Meetup Group

Complete the form below with your information, let us know what you are interested in and we will contact you as soon as possible.
