Thank you for wanting to help the BLPA and our mission.
The BLPA is an organization that accomplishes most of its work by the dedicated efforts of volunteers. If you love Burnaby Lake and want to share your passion, enthusiasm and skills with our community, the BLPA would love to hear from you! Helping out with one our volunteer activities is a great way to get involved with our association and understand what the roots of our organization are all about.
How can I volunteer?
We welcome new volunteers – with experience or completely new! We will introduce you to the BLPA and how we work with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks.
For stewardship work parties, you will learn the value of removing invasive species, plant identification and safe removal techniques.
Complete the form below and our coordinator will be in touch with registration details. We require pre-registration; no drop ins allowed.
At this time, our work parties are limited to a maximum of 20 people but may be smaller if the site does not allow for ample spacing.
