MVRP Owl Walk

Whooo can see in the dark and fly on silent wings? Listen for owls and other night sounds on this winter night 3.5 km walk.

The Park Interpreters will try to attract some owls by playing owl calls – and review common owls and bring our typical specimens

​All ages.

Free, registration not required.

MVRP Christmas Bird Count for Kids 2018

Ages:  8 – 14
Cost:  Free

Learn basic birding skills. Use binoculars and a field guide to identify and report findings during this winter bird count. Must be accompanied by adult. Please dress for the weather – you’ll be outside after a short classroom session. Bring your own binoculars and guidebooks if you have them. Space is limited to 22 kids and registration is required

Stay and enjoy the Burnaby Lake Park Association Open House afterwards.
